I’m figuring out how to use light and angles to my advantage and I’m doing a pretty decent job. Also I found this bowl that I was using when I was on the Special K diet couple months back. I like eating in pretty dishes because it makes me feel happy (that’s also how I am with gym shoes). I woke up this morning feeling like major shit once again (story of my life) so I wanted to eat a crap load of chocolate. I remembered I found the stash of chocolate chips I bought for….myself last month and used them up to make the best porridge of chocolate oatmeal on the face of this planet. This was really yummy and I love oatmeal for breakfast, my go to is with bananas, dates, and chopped almonds but this hit the spot. This recipe serves 2.
- 1 cup quick 1 minute oatmeal (don’t be fooled it never takes 1 minute to make good oatmeal)
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tspn sugar
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tspn nutella
- 1 tspn milk
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 tspn milk
Heat a sauce pan on low heat.
Add oatmeal and milk to pan, stir constantly so it doesn’t stick to the bottom and believe me it WILL stick to the bottom but you’re better off cleaning a smaller mess. Bring oatmeal to a boil and let it cook for about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes of stirring, add in the chocolate chips and sugar and stir until melted.
In a mug add nutella and a tspn of milk. Stir until you get a liquid form and set aside. After 20 minutes when your chocolate oatmeal is completely cooked through add to a bowl and garnish with the syrup and blueberries. Not gonna lie, I reallyyyyy wanted raspberries but I felt too crappy to step out of my place(Also why is raspberry spelled with a “p”?, hmmm).
